Bursa Malaysia Berhad (BURSA) shares reached an intra day high of RM3.82, or 27% over its retail price of RM3.00. The shares closed at RM3.70 with a total of 101,821,000 shares traded, valued at RM370 million.
YAB Dato' Seri Abdullah Ahmad Badawi, Prime Minister of Malaysia, officiated the listing ceremony this morning by hitting the gong at 9.00am to signify the beginning of trading for BURSA shares.
BURSA shares opened at RM3.50 upon its listing on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia Securities Berhad this morning.
