Included in non-controlling interest of the Group at 31 December 2013 are 85 (2012: 84) non-cumulative preference shares of RM1 each in Bursa Malaysia Derivatives
Berhad (Bursa Malaysia Derivatives), a subsidiary, for registration as Trading Participants (TPs), at a subscription price determined by Bursa Malaysia Derivatives. During
the financial year, Bursa Malaysia Derivatives proposed to revamp its participantship structure. Further details of the revamp is disclosed in Note 41.
