Reference is made to the following articles that were publicly disseminated:-
1. Article entitled “Bursa Malaysia mulling move to TRX" published in The Edge Malaysia (the week of 17 June 2024 to 23 June 2024); and 2. Article entitled “In final negotiation stage, Bursa Malaysia’s headquarters to be moved to TRX” published in Nanyang Siang Pau on 15 June 2024. The above articles stated that Bursa Malaysia (as the bourse operator) and Mulia Property Development Sdn Bhd (as the developer of the 106-storey Exchange 106 in the Tun Razak Exchange (“TRX”)) are in the final negotiations in moving the Bursa Malaysia headquarters to TRX, which, if materialises, will likely see Bursa Malaysia occupying two storeys of the Exchange 106 building. Bursa Malaysia currently occupies a 16-storey office building located in Bukit Kewangan, Kuala Lumpur, known as the Exchange Square. In this respect, Bursa Malaysia confirms that discussions with Mulia Property Development Sdn Bhd are still ongoing and the details have yet to be finalised. Further announcement will only be made by the Company when there is a material development on the matter. This announcement is dated 18 June 2024. |
