We refer to the news article appearing in the Agence France-Presse dated 29 May 2007, in particular the following sentence:
"Malaysia and Indonesia were in talks to implement a dual-listing system in which companies from both countries would be able to list on both exchanges"
We wish to clarify that Bursa Malaysia Berhad's discussion with the Jakarta Stock Exchange on exploring dual listing opportunities is still at preliminary stage. At the moment, no formal plan or agreement has taken place between the two parties. Bursa Malaysia Berhad will make the appropriate announcement in a timely manner should there be any significant development on this matter.
