The terms used herein shall, unless the context otherwise states, have the same meaning as those defined in the previous announcement, where applicable.
In the Company’s announcement dated 17 October 2025 on the above matter, it was stated that the Company had received two (2) letters from the SC on the following matters:- A) A notification on the SC Fee Applicable to Bursa; and B) A notification on the SC’s approval-in-principle on the proposed revision to selected listing and regulatory-related fees for both listed issuers and market participants to be charged by Bursa. Further to the above, the Company wishes to announce that, with respect to Item B above, the Company has on 30 October 2025, received approval from the SC under Section 9 of the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 (CMSA) on the following:- 1. Listing-related fees for the MAIN, ACE and LEAP Markets; and 2. Regulatory-related fees (“Fees Revision”). Specific notification will be made to the relevant stakeholders. The Fees Revision will take effect from 1 January 2026. The additional fees to be collected by Bursa each year from the Fees Revision, primarily from annual listing fees, are estimated to be in the range of RM28 million to RM34 million per annum. The increase from the additional fees to be collected following the Fees Revision will not have any material impact on the earnings of Bursa, taking into consideration the SC Fee as announced on 17 October 2025. This is the first revision to Bursa’s regulatory-related and listing-related fees since 2001 and 2007, respectively. The Fees Revision is timely and appropriate, reflecting the new SC Fee, increased cost of regulation, including manpower and systems, to support Bursa’s role as a frontline regulator and market operator.
