We refer to the announcements dated 27 November 2017 and 18 December 2017 in relation to the Proposed ESGP.

On behalf of the Board, Maybank IB wishes to announce that the Company has decided not to proceed with the establishment of the Proposed ESGP at this juncture and may consider establishing a new employees’ share grant plan at a later date. Accordingly, the application which was submitted to the SC for the listing and quotation of the new ordinary shares in BMB to be issued pursuant to the Proposed EGSP has been withdrawn.
