Webcasting

Webcast Requirements

To view the webcast, you need to have the following software installed.

Internet Explorer 6.0

The Power-Point slides are presented in HTML format. Since HTML slides produced by Power-Point are not W3C compliant, they will not be rendered correctly in non-Microsoft browsers. Therefore, we require the use of Internet Explorer 6. (IE 5.5 will most likely work too, but the webcast package has been developed and tested using IE 6.0.)

Internet Explorer 6 is available for Windows 98, ME, 2000 and XP and is available through the Windows Update website.

Windows Media Player 8 or above

The audio and video portions of the webcast are streamed using the Windows Media Server. To view the webcast, you must have at least Windows Media Player 8 installed on your PC.
