Bursa Malaysia continues to ensure a robust and sustainable Malaysian marketplace by building a market that is liquid,
of high quality and integrity, as well as filled with competitive products and services. In 2013, we advocated corporate
governance and sustainability best practices as well as intensified efforts to improve our market’s ecosystem. We introduced
initiatives to promote self-regulation while amending certain rules to improve efficiency, introduce new products and
services and strengthen our regulatory framework. Our efforts also extended to building up an informed investing and
trading community.
