In the previous financial year, the Company reversed an impairment loss of RM4,755,000 in relation to the Company’s investment in its subsidiary,
Bursa Malaysia Derivatives, on the basis that the recoverable amount is in excess of the carrying amount. The Company also recognised an impairment loss
of RM1,589,000 in relation to its wholly owned subsidiary, Labuan International Financial Exchange Inc., on the basis that the carrying amount is in excess
of the recoverable amount.
